Geeking Out on The Beatles with Bob Schneider and Johnny Goudie

We are wrapping up this year with our old friend Bob Schneider, who is back on the show again together with Johnny Goudie.

Bob and Johnny are both musicians and podcasters. Bob’s latest album is called ‘In a Roomful of Blood with a Sleeping Tiger’ and he’s announcing some live dates around the New Year’s. He also hosts two podcasts, The Song Club and I’m OK You’re OK, I’m Not OK You’re Not Ok. Johnny has a great podcast called How Did I Get Here? with a catalogue of over 1000 episodes, and he is dubbed ‘The Marc Maron of Austin Music.’

This episode is a two-parter. In this part, we discuss The Beatles: Get Back documentary, and we also talk about Texas music and how it is to meet your music heroes.

Both musicians and Beatles fans, Bob and Johnny offer great insights on songwriting and creative process in music.

“Most bands aren’t The Beatles. Most people would put out their songs when they are half-baked, but these guys would never stop until it’s excellent.” – Bob Schneider
